The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is the starting point for anyone wanting to gain employment as a lifeguard anywhere in the UK. A full forty hour course will teach you rescue techniques, emergency first aid, personal safety and the legislation that protects you and leisure service users. People that undertake this course will leave having learned not only how to be a lifeguard, but life skills including: teamwork, organisation, communication, leadership and resilience, that will stay with them forever. Course run by experienced lifeguard trainer at newly opened leisure centre venue. Pay and display parking is available for all candidates. York Stadium is served by Monks Cross park and ride with regular bus services to York Railway Station.
